    after having run the car for the first time in 40-45 years, every thing seems ok.

    Not sure what comments your've had so far, just found these photos. The car is a Jwf Italia, all the cars were originally produced as convertables and some had the hard tops grafted on. I just sold a open type and still own a 750 Monza and a GT. If you want to chat my email is below
